Downtown Businesses, Photo Essay

B&J Printing: Your Downtown Printing Stop

When I was looking for a local place to get some of my note cards printed, I went to B&J Printing and I immediately liked Brenda and Rick. They gave me all the details I wanted to know, answered all of my questions, and catered to my needs and my budget. Being located in the heart of downtown Washington, made them a perfect candidate for a photo essay 🙂

In business since 1980, B&J Printing does more than just printing - they take care of their customers.

When you enter the shop, you will find the owners - Brenda Turnbough and Rick Brandt - working in the back on current projects. They both say that all printing jobs have interesting flavor, since every order is different. What do they love about the downtown? "All the great businesses and people, being right in the middle of what is happening in Washington, the easy to get to location."

Brenda usually works on the graphic design, she is the creative side of the business.

Rick, on the other hand, takes care of the printing. This huge printer is their newest addition, providing amazing quality and colors.

Rick at work. B&J Printing can take care of all of your printing needs. From black & white and color copies, business cards, letterheads, envelopes, to wedding invitations, rubber-stamps, yard signs and vinyl banners: they got it all!

Have you seen the heat transfers for quilts or T-shirts? I was impressed with the quality of the photos! What a wonderful gift these would make!

Getting married soon? B&J Printing can help you with the wedding preparations! They have a full line of products, and they will work with you to get the design you envision.

Being a Canon girl, I had to take a picture of this. Did you know that Rick and Brenda also do copies of old photos? if you have a big family and only one photo of your great grandparents, you know where to go 🙂

Last, but not least, my favorite part! B&J Printing always has beautifully decorated windows! Every month they have a new local artist exhibit their work. The tradition started three years ago, when Rick and Brenda expanded the shop. During the Christmas holidays, B&J Printing sponsors the annual Gingerbread Contest, and you can see the gingerbread houses on display.

B&J Printing is located on 213 West Main Street. You can reach Rick and Brenda at 636.239.3512, or e-mail them at rick@bjprintingonline.com. To visit their website, click here. Like them on Facebook, to stay updated on new products and promotions.

  1. B&J Printing does ALL of our printing! When I had Hudson House, it was so nice to walk down the block and get my business cards, flyers, brochures, etc. Then when I went to work at Green Gate, we needed some print jobs done and we didn’t even hesitate–we called B&J! They have done quite a few jobs for us including business cards, posters, large prints, flyers, color brochures, you name it….they are awesome!! Great photos and write up!!
