Toni’s Crafts And Home Decor: Alterations And Much More

When we moved to Washington, a year and a half ago, I needed some pieces of furniture and home decor, and I was so happy to find Toni’s on Main Street. The store is filled with so many wonderful things, it takes you a while to browse through it all. And since pictures speak louder that words, I decided to take you on a tour.

Located on Main Street in beautiful and nostalgic Washington, Missouri. Toni’s is the place to go for fine quality, gently used furniture and home décor items.

Toni's is a consignment shop featuring a wide variety of hand-made and gently used pieces. What I love about it, is that everything is always wonderfully organized and displayed.

Many local artists and crafters have their work for sale, including home-made soaps, ceramics, carved wood, paintings, photographs, clothing, gift baskets, jewelry and other types of home decor items.

Meet Toni herself! She will great you with a smile, while working on her sewing machine. Toni has been doing high quality alterations on men's, women's and children's clothing for over 40 years.

Toni was a crafter and fell in love with Washington while participating in the Fall Festival of the Arts and Crafts for 5 years.

After retiring from a 33 year career, Toni decided to open a craft shop in Washington and she invited many of her fellow crafters to sell their pieces in her shop.

Toni loves the hometown, friendly atmosphere downtown and she enjoys all of the community events. She is so fond of Washington that her and her husband are moving into one of the new apartments on the riverfront this September! We can only be happy for them! 🙂

It's not all about grown-ups. Toni also has wonderful items for kids.

Foreign cultures fascinate you? Take a look at this wonderful corner!

Everything at the store has its own place.

Don't forget that St. Patrick's Day is coming up!

This comes as no surprise, because we already know that I love baby pigs 🙂

Last, but not least, Toni's has the most adorable greeting cards!

Have you seen enough and now you want to go? New items are added daily and it is always fun to look through the antique pieces mixed in with the new hand-made ones.

Toni’s Craft and Home Decor is located on 201 West Main St, Washington, MO. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can all Toni at 636.390.0100 or visit her website here

  2. I love Toni’s! Her shop is adorable and I find the most unique items there–my favorite was a handmade Christmas stocking done all in creme colors with an antique brooch accent. So girly! Having someone so convenient that does alterations is WONDERFUL! Her prices are fantastic too…
    Great pictures!
