Where in Washington? Week 11

It is Wednesday and it is time for the 11th edition of our fun game “Where in Washington?” Every week I will be posting a picture from downtown Washington, and your job will be to guess where exactly it was taken. The winner this week will get a free month of gymnastics classes from Kids in Motion!

Congratulations to Danny Richter (again!) who was the first one to guess the location of the photo from last week: “200 Block of Jefferson street, next to the garage door on the opposite side of the street from Rosie’s Barbershop. Sorry everyone else that is two weeks in a row.” Danny got  two framed downtown prints and a set of note cards from Slava Bowman Photography.

Can you guess Where in Washington was this photo taken? You can leave your answers as comments under this post. The first person who points out the EXACT location will get a free month of gymnastics classes from Kids in Motion! Clue for you: it is downtown in the morning! All answers posted underneath this post, and the photo on Facebook will be considered for the game. Please, be specific: name the exact street/streets, buildings, and surroundings!

  1. Slave,

I believe the photo is taken on the building of Nieburg and Vitt funeral. this looks like the shadow of their sign.
