Keeping Krog Park Clean

Did you know that the members of the Washington Historical Society clean up Krog Park once a month? I didn't, until I joined the group a couple of weeks ago. We met up at 8 this morning at the park, and by 8:15 we were done picking up the trash (mostly cigarette stubs - we wore gloves). You can see some of the members proudly showing their "loot" - they said because they do the clean up every month, it is easier to keep up with the trash. Isn't it nice to live in a clean town? 🙂

  1. There is a lot of good suggestions on here for family fun . But I feel like we need more things in Washington for family’s to do . I have three girls ages 17 , 13 , and 3 . My 3 year old loves to do the outdoor activities but my 13 year old just seems uninterested and it is hard to find something that they all can enjoy and inexpensive. We need more for kids !
