A RIver Runs Through It

“May what I do flow from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke

I got to go on the river today for the first time! So exciting! 🙂

A nice place to call home, don’t you think? 😉

I got to see all the attractions, waterfalls and all 😉

The sunshine, the wind, the water, the views – it’s hard to describe! 🙂

You get it, don’t you 😉

A different view of the bridge.

A bold eagle couple and their babies – such an amazing sight!

Sunsets on the water are always breathtaking.

Crescent Moon Serenity.

“What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn’t have any doubt – it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn’t want to go anywhere else.” Hal Boyle

The River. The Trains. Historic Downtown. Everyday is a vacation in Washington.

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.”
― Norman Maclean
