Who Done It? Murder Mystery at the Busch Brewery

Downtown Washington Inc. always delights us with great festivals and events. My favorite are the ones that involve dressing up in costumes and promise to be a lot of fun. I did not make it to the Murder Mystery Dinner last year, but after seeing the pictures, I knew it’s a must-attend event. Flappers and Gangsters, delicious food from Big Boys Grilled Subs and Wings, a photo booth from STL Photo Booth Company, and an amazing performance by the Riverside Players – do you regret missing it? Put it in your calendar, the third Thursday in October every year! Here are some visuals:

This is how I was greeted as I entered the old Busch Brewery. No doubt, I was at the right place. Or was I?

John B. Busch (a.k.a. Marc Hausman) made a special appearance and welcomed everyone into his home, that was to become a mysterious crime scene…

Do you recognize this lady? Kim Lutz, from the Fudge Shoppe, looked dazzling in her flapper outfit. Did you know she just published a children’s book?

Kim’s mom, Debbie and her husband were the epitome of the flapper/gangster couple. Debbie and Kim’s spectacular jewelry came from Calico Cat Antiques.

The gorgeous Angie, founder of the Washington Cash Mob. Little did she know, that a man would drop dead at that exact same spot…

Before the drama everything is always a lot of fun…

People were lining up to get their pictures taken at the photo booth. Nobody could tell what would happen by the end of the night…

The two lovely ladies from STL Photo Booth Company, before they recorded a ghost on one of the photos… Their smiles quickly vanished after that….

Jeanne Miller Wood’s appearance was duly photographed. I hope I don’t see a similar picture of me in the Missourian.

These three guys from Big Boys Grilled Subs and Wings made me feel safe and assured me that no matter what happens, we were going to get some delicious food.

It’s always good to see Mayor Sandy Lucy at the downtown events!

The Riverside Players put on an amazing show, and kept up the mystery to the very last moment…

Tara Steffens came by and gave us some clues, she looked dashing among the group of gangsters and crooks.

Thank you, Bridgette, Danielle and Aimee for putting together another awesome event!

STL Photo Booth was a big hit. You can book them for your Halloween or Christmas Party, just call 573.205.7333. Pictures always speak louder than words, that’s why I am not going to share any more photos from last night…
