Fine Art Fair & Winefest is an event in Washington we all look forward to. The weather is usually nice, there is a variety of beautiful art on display, great live music, and, of course, lots of wine from the local wineries. Pictures? This year that I don’t have a booth set up for Slava Bowman Photography, and I was able to explore, enjoy and document the event for you!
Art Fair and Winefest kicks off on Friday night, 5-10pm. As the sun goes down, more and more people gather downtown and congregate around the food and drink areas…
Can you blame them? 😉
Grazy Aunt Linda entertained the crowd on Friday, and everybody loved them.
The artists booths are set up along Main and Elm Street, and there is a wonderful variety of unique art on display.
Most people are headed towards the wine pavilion under the Farmers’ Market.
This year Fine Art Fair and Winefest has also added a Photobooth to the entertainment! For $5 you get to take home a souvenir photo from Photobooth 180!
Food is available for purchase as well. The Lions Club offers the amazing pork burgers from Todd Geisert Farm.
The event attracts lots of people from the area, as well as many tourists.
Downtown Washington Inc. knows how to get a crowd!
You can purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy it with friends.
Just like this…
Or, you can get a ticket and taste variety of wines from local wineries. Admission to the wine tasting is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and includes a souvenir wine glass.
The wine tasting is lots of fun.
Romance is in the air…
Crazy Aunt Linda entertains the crowd.
The Fine Art Fair and Winefest mascot loves wine. Naturally.
Many local business owners volunteer to set up the event even year. They take shifts working at the wine pavilion as well. Such a tough job, we are thankful that they are doing it 😉
