The Washington Farmers’ Market: Local, Fresh, Affordable and Convenient

One of the things that I love about the Washington Farmers’ Market is that it is located downtown! In Bulgaria we have Farmers’ Markets every day all year round, so it was nice to discover a place so close by where I can get fresh eggs, delicious chocolate zucchini bread, local produce and meat, beautiful flowers and fresh herbs, along with jewelry and craft items!

Located on 317 W. main Street, the Washington Farmers' Market was a renovation project completed together with the efforts of the City of Washington, The Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Washington Inc.

The market area is covered, which makes it safe from the unpredictable Missouri weather. There are ample parking spaces available, but have in mind that it gets busy on Saturdays!

The market closes for the winter months and reopens back in April. Currently it is open every Saturday from 8am until 1pm.
